Semi Skilled General Operative – Willenhall Plant Sales Preparation Centre

Role: Semi Skilled General Operative – Willenhall Plant Sales Preparation Centre – 45 hours per week – 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday

About you:

Are you a determined individual with some experience working with plant hire machinery? If so, an exciting full-time opportunity has arisen for a Semi Skilled General Operative to join our talented and highly respected team at our Willenhall Plant Sales Preparation Centre.

You will be responsible for assisting The Preparation Centre team with their daily duties.

• Assisting the onsite mechanical engineers with identified repairs required to plant hire equipment (telehandler, excavators, site dumpers & road rollers)
• Assist in the loading of sold assets onto collecting HGV’s (customer collections)
• Assisting the multifunctional team as and when required, with regards to all team disciplines
• Assist in maintaining workshop and yard areas
• Cleaning of assets in readiness for repairs to be carried out
• Final cleaning of assets in preparation for sale

Essential:

• Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently
• Ensuring all work-related tasks are completed to a high standard
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent own time management skills

Desirable:

• Mechanical knowledge of plant hire equipment
• Competent in operating plant hire equipment
• Have own tool kit (bespoke tools available within the location)
