General Manager – Stockport

Role: General Manager – Stockport Depot – 45 hours per week – 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday

About you:

Are you a determined individual with experience working as a General Manager in the Plant Hire Industry? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Manager to join our talented and highly respected team at our Stockport Depot.

You will be responsible for leading the depot operationally including asset availability and security, managing an annual budget, the depot health and safety, environmental legislation/compliance and following the procurement procedures of the business. You will engage and develop the team to deliver their potential and maximise efficiency for the depot.

Essential:

• Proven track record in operational management, leading, engaging and motivating your team
• Working knowledge and experience of on-site Health and Safety legislation
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload
• Customer focused
• Excellent time management skills
• Keep up to date with Company policies and procedures
• Comfortable with the use of IT systems
• Experience working in the Plant Hire industry
