Errol’s Classic Vehicle Auction, this Saturday 18th, at Errol Airfield is going to be an event not to be missed. Aside the 150+ classic cars there will be 40 vintage tractors going under the hammer and what’s more Fuzz Townshend, TV presenter of Car SOS and always a crowd pleaser, is going to be in attendance.
The auction will provide a unique opportunity for tractor enthusiasts to bid on a fantastic selection from 40 tractors including some rare vehicles. The auction house has worked alongside a few collectors to bring this fantastic selection together during the Summer auction and it is generating significant interest from bidders nationally and globally.
The event kicks off at 11am with the tractor collection including a beautiful 1957 Porsche 111 tractor, engineered every bit as well as the company’s more well known cars. For those with a passion for agricultural technology there are a number of fabulous tractors in great condition including a 1957 Ferguson 35, a 1962 Fordson Dexta and a truly vintage 1936 Fordson Model N. Not to overlook the Massey Fergusons, Renaults and David Browns that are expected to create some fascinating bidding wars.
Moving into the cars and there are some real stand out lots for those in the hall or watching proceedings on-line. A rare 1933 Talbot 95, which has been owned by its current owner for the past 54 years, is for sale at an attractive guide price of £38,000 to £42,000 and is certain to be a major draw.
Sticking with quintessential British lots and the 1964 Bristol 408 (guide price £20,000 – £25,000) is resplendent in green. First registered on the 8th September 1964 this example has been in the hands of the same keeper for 18 years. Within that time the vendor has had a lot of work undertaken include a bare metal respray and replacement Bristol 603 engine fitted.
With these and more than 150 entries going under the hammer, such as a 1972 Land Rover Range Rover, 1974 Jensen interceptor III and 1976 Alfa Romeo GT Junior, Saturday’s auction is going to be an action packed day for all.
